After spending 30 years in the British Military, dealing with a
variety of physical and mental challenges and also suffering plenty of injuries, periods of self doubt, low confidence and body phobias, I completely understand how a high pressured, busy lifestyle can affect our wellbeing.
Over the years my passion for health and wellness has grown and
has developed from a personal interest into a therapy and coaching career.
As a Sports Massage Therapist, I have always been interested in the kinetic movement of our body and how any imbalances can affect our overall wellbeing, I was always interested in Yoga and Pilates but always felt that I wasn't bendy enough, slim enough or supple enough, then I trained in Clinical Yoga and realised its not all about how you look doing the poses and how much you can bend but being in the correct position and working the poses to your own body's ability and alignment. I was amazed at the difference Clinical Yoga was making to my old injuries and general aches and pains.
I have now introduced Clinical Yoga to the Rugby Teams, cyclists, triathletes and individuals that I work with.
